If it was death, I would embrace it.
Dark as my heart, I walked.
Slowly as I paced, I was on the verge.
Touch me not! I forgot. Nobody's around.
Amidst the light of darkness, I talked.
All my prayers emerge.
Apprehensively, my fragile heart's on the mound.
Inhale. Exhale. I closed in on the verge to fall.
Air pressure on my body as I soar.
On the will of the gravity I chased the Earth.
I spread my arms, I know there's no wall.
As I hit the patch on Earth it bore
I breathed my last good-bye to my birth.
My being's suspended on midair.
As alone as before the act commence
Nobody was there even to mourn.
It all felt unfair.
This lonesome world was dense.
My every heart's desire's absence was heavy to be borne.
I screamed, I screeched, I stumble. But still, nothing!
No one remembers, no one cares. I understand.
Utter darkness I learned to embrace.
Thunder roars, overhead struck a lightning.
Rain drifts in the air where I stand.
Wind blows with me.., shriveling.., and I brace.
The clouds hovered to make a way.
Where the moon, my hope, gives out blinding light.
I reached out, tears overflowing my eyes.
In the heavens you are -my hopes- in array.
It was His presence that envelops me so tight.
My life He would restore.., it was a surprise.
If it was death I'm prepared for, then why?
Now, if it is to live...
Be my toughest reason...
And I shall live with it...
